• Professional Career

I achieved a BFA in Musical Theater from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. In 1998, I had the incredible opportunity to attend the British American Drama Academy at Oxford University, where I studied Shakespeare. During my time there, I trained under some of the most acclaimed actors and directors in the industry, including Alan Rickman (Snape), Sir Ben Kingsley, and Kevin Spacey. After graduation, I moved to New York City, where I was an actress for 13 years. I did commercials, short films, feature films, theatrical readings, etc. I was a guest star on Law and Order on NBC, and was cast as the role of Mildred in “Ah! Wilderness”, at the world renowned Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, where we then toured it for 6 months. I performed my own cabaret show at the famous Don’t Tell Mama in New York City. I was in the final callbacks for lead roles in 4 different Broadway shows. Sophie, in the original cast of Mamma Mia. Penny in Hairspray. Maureen in Rent. Nessarose, for the original cast of Wicked. Needless to say, I know the ins and outs of the audition process, from beginning to end, not only with theater but also film and tv!

  • Teaching Career

I am a singer and vocal coach and have been teaching students of all ages in Austin and beyond for more than 13 years. I specialize in young singers as they navigate their changing voices, and self confidence, to help prepare them for middle and high school challenges. I work directly with many schools in the area as a music director and coach to help guide them to their best and most confident performance. I also help prepare students for college auditions, and have had many go on to prestigious programs all over the country!
